The earthen vessels in the foreground are valuable in so far as they hold a treasure. Regardless of their different shapes and that some are cracked and leaking, they all hold the water of life. This is the key to their significance. The master potter shapes the vessels as he choses knowing the form and inner possibilities of each one. He positions them where he wishes and from that thoughtful placement, serves the world his treasure of life from these jars of clay.
