In the Vine
Watercolor 10” x 12” John 15:1-8 A simple sketch of a cluster of grapes hanging from the vine. The soil beneath represents the refuse of life from which good things grow. All the hardships and struggles, the attempts, the failures, and the few accomplishments each in themselves become fodder for the earth. No nurture, no growth, nor any life comes to this cluster of grapes unless its roots draw from such soil. So, the vine solidly grasps the soil. The fruit tentatively presents itself, hangs from the vine from which comes its life.
