Before the worship time began, a word was given encouraging people to say “yes” when God comes. I could see two figures reaching up toward the light in the darkness, as a gesture of this kind of submission. David Ruis began to lead us in music with a rhythm of justice for first nations people. The image background began to take a forest feel, and with emphasis, the poses of the figures call us to say “yes”.
